Aliette Fungicide is a systemic fungicide that effectively targets Oomycetes fungi, including downy mildew in grapes and damping off and Azhukal diseases in cardamom. There have been no reports of resistance development in fungi against Aliette. Its true systemic action makes it an excellent prophylactic solution for controlling downy mildew in grapes. A systemic fungicide rapidly absorbs through the plant leaves or roots, with translocation both acropetally and (upward) and basipetally (downward).

Due to its complex mode of action, there have been no confirmed cases of fungal resistance to Aliette in practical use, despite its intensive application since its introduction in 1978. Aliette Fungicide is highly effective against Phycomycetes fungi of the Oomycete family, including Phytophthora, Pythium, Bremia, and Peronospora. It is a true systemic fungicide, quickly absorbed by plant roots or leaves and translocated both upward and downward, particularly to growing parts. Its rapid absorption ensures rain-fastness.
